According to reports, a rape case has been filed against The Family Man and Dhurandhar's production designer, Saini S Johray, in Chandigarh after a young woman accused him of sexual assault, wrongful confinement, and physical abuse.
The complainant alleged that Johray invited her to a five-star hotel under the pretext of a professional meeting, as per reports. It was at this five-star hotel where the alleged rape took place. Following her complaint, an FIR was registered on April 21, 2026. Police arrested Johray after the complaint was registered. However, after the arrest, he was later granted bail by a district court.

March-May we spent designing, June was for recce and July we started shooting. I had 15 designers in the beginning on my team for the project. We would work 12 hours a day because it's a very vast film. I think in my career, it's one of those films that has the maximum number of locations."
