Ajay Devgn's latest release, Drishyam 3, is raking up a storm at the box office. After witnessing a solid opening, the film has now recorded a superb opening weekend as well. After the first weekend, the film has become the second-highest weekend opener of this year, after Dhurandhar 2. In just three days, the festive release has managed to earn around Rs 176.50 crore (net) in India, surpassing the previous records held by Border 2, Toxic (Hindi), Mirzapur the movie.
According to Sacnilk, Drishyam The Conclusion collected a net of Rs 61 crore across 17,323 shows on Day 3. The figure brings total India gross collections to Rs 211.80 crore, while the total India net collections stand at Rs 176.50 crore so far.
Talking of its overseas collections, the film earned Rs 20.00 crore on Day 3, pushing its total overseas gross to Rs 61.00 crore so far. This further takes the worldwide gross collection to Rs 272.80 crore.
On Friday, its opening day, Drishyam 3 minted Rs 62 crore, followed by Rs 53.50 crore on Saturday.
Preceding Drishyam 3 is Dhurandhar 2, which had earned Rs 308.57 crore on its opening weekend in 2026. The second highest was Border 2 with Rs 121.00 crore, followed by The RajaSaab with 98.85 crore and Mirzapur The Movie with Rs 93.75 crore. Drishyam 3 has now dethroned Border 2 to take the second spot.
Drishyam 3 stars Ajay as Vijay Salgaonkar, while Jaideep Ahlawat is seen as SP Rajveer Singh Tomar. Alongside the two, the film's ensemble cast also includes Shriya Saran, Tabu, Rajat Kapoor, Prakash Raj, Ishita Dutta, and Saurabh Shukla.
Tabu returns in the third instalment as Meera Deshmukh, while Shriya Saran plays Nandini Salgaonkar. Rajat Kapoor essays the role of Tabu's on-screen husband, Mahesh Deshmukh. Ishita Dutta is also seen reprising the character of Anju, while Mrunal Jadhav returns as Anu.
Drishyam The Conclusion is the final film of the trilogy and is directed and written by Abhishek Pathak. Drishyam, the first film of the franchise, was released in 2015, followed by the second instalment in 2022.
