Actor Govinda was admitted to a Mumbai hospital on Wednesday; however, details surrounding his condition and the reason behind the hospitalisation remain limited. As per the latest update, Govinda has been hospitalised at the CritiCare Asia Multispeciality Hospital in Juhu. The actor is currently under observation, and his friend confirmed that he has been shifted to a hospital room from the emergency ward. His family is also rushing to see him.
As per reports in Hindustan Times, his friend Lalit assured that Govinda has been shifted to a room from the emergency ward and is doing better. "Several tests have been done. Now, all his reports are awaited. He is under constant observation. Govinda is resting at the moment. There is no word on discharge yet, as the doctors are waiting for the results of the reports to come and then will decide a further course of action. I spoke to Govinda in the morning, and he told me that he is feeling better," Lalit said.
Clarifying why the family was not around him, he shared that Sunita and their daughter Tina were out of town at the time but have since rushed back to be by his side. "Sunita was not in town and had gone for a wedding. She came to Mumbai late at night and is coming to the hospital now. Meanwhile, his daughter Tina was in Chandigarh for some work. She is also on her way back and will be with Govinda by the evening," Lalit said.
For those unversed, Govinda was admitted to a hospital in suburban Juhu after he experienced disorientation and briefly lost consciousness at home. A neurologist will check on him to find out why the episode happened.
The development follows the actor's recent visit to Dharmendra, who was hospitalised at the Breach Candy Hospital. Govinda was among the many Bollywood celebrities who arrived to check on the veteran superstar after his health worsened on Monday.
This is the second time that the Partner actor has been hospitalised in recent months. In October last year, Govinda was rushed to CritiCare Hospital after he sustained a bullet injury on the leg from his revolver.
