Deepika Padukone's father, Prakash Padukone, has revealed that the actor decided to launch her mental health foundation, The Live, Love, Laugh Foundation, after the death of a close friend. Speaking on âThe Something Bigger Show with Rodrigo Canelas,' he said, "We had no objection at all to her going public if it was helping others, because she was in a position where she could help people. She told us, âI want to do something in the field of mental health'." Prakash said the family fully supported her decision, stressing that "mental health is a serious illness" that unfortunately continues to carry
a stigma.
During an appearance on âKoffee With Karan', Deepika Padukone had credited husband Ranveer Singh for supporting her through her mental health struggles. She said Ranveer created a "safe space" for her to be vulnerable, and express her feelings without the fear of being judged or dismissed, helping her navigate one of the most difficult periods of her life.
While gearing up for the release of Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups and Ramayana, Yash has made a splashy real-estate move. The actor and his wife, Radhika Pandit, have purchased premium beachfront land in Alibaug for R24 crore. The deal places Yash among a growing list of film stars investing in the coastal hotspot, with neighbours including Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and several other Bollywood A-listers. Property registration documents accessed by Liases Foras show the couple acquired two adjoining plots near Kihim beach, spanning over 5,289 square metres and including a residential structure.
Drishyam 3 may have divided critics, but the Mohanlal-starrer has become a box-office juggernaut, reportedly earning Rs 226.55 crore worldwide in under 14 days and entering the top five highest-grossing Malayalam films ever. Amid speculation about a fourth instalment, director Jeethu Joseph said he has no concrete plans yet. Explaining the film's post-credit scene, he said, "That scene was meant to be part of the main film," but was moved after discussions about a sequel. "If I get an extraordinary idea, I will attempt it; otherwise, I won't," he added.
Actor Vicky Kaushal has opened up about the emotional challenges of fatherhood, admitting that returning to work after the birth of his son, Vihaan, was particularly difficult. Speaking to The Nod magazine, Vicky recalled taking six weeks off before heading to Wai for a shoot of Chhaava. "My heart sank. It was hard," he said, explaining that he would be away from his son for four days. The actor added that becoming a parent has made him realise the importance of leading by example. "Whatever you want to see reflected in him has to come in your actions rather than words," he said. Vicky and Katrina Kaif welcomed Vihaan in November 2025.
