Govinda is all set to make his comeback with Roopa, starring Rani Swarnkar, who is rumoured to be his girlfriend. The actors have been spotted several times, after which Sunita Ahuja expressed disappointment and even called Govinda Rani's sugar daddy. A few days back, she was spotted at family court as she withdrew the divorce petition. She revealed that Govinda was planning to marry her. Now, the actor's manager has denied such claims.
In an exclusive chat with India Today, Govinda's manager, Shashi Sinha, reacted to Sunita's claims and said, "There's nothing like this, nor will it happen. There's no second marriage happening. She is his wife, and there must be something going on in her mind that she made those claims."
Sinha also mentioned that if Govinda really wanted to end his relationship with Sunita or get married again, he would have been the one to file for divorce. He added, "Govinda has never spoken a word against Sunita in public. She has been the one washing dirty linen out. I am sure they both want the best for them and their children."
The controversy around Govinda's marriage seems to be getting murkier after Rakhi Sawant, in public, had a conversation with the star's wife, Sunita Ahuja, who revealed that she withdrew the divorce petition against Govinda as he was planning to marry Komal Rani Swarnkar.
Rakhi was speaking to the paparazzi in Mumbai when she put Sunita Ahuja on speaker. The Lock Upp contestant was heard saying, "You all should speak up in my support; you know everything. Didn't you see who took him to the airport? I had been quiet all these days, you know. He will give her my place. I withdrew the divorce case yesterday because they were planning to get married."
She then asked Sunita to protect her financial interests and added, "Just focus on the Rs 200 crore. Forget everything else. If some other woman comes along, she'll snatch it all up. Please, do me a favour and get everything transferred to your name first."
Govinda and Sunita's divorce rumours have been doing the rounds since 2024. She has been quite vocal about his affairs and them living separately, while Govinda has never directly addressed the claims. He recently slammed Sunita for age-shaming him and hurling abuses.
