John Abraham is ready to return to action with The Diplomat (2025) director Shivam Nair. The duo is reportedly reuniting for an untitled two-hero action thriller, which sources describe as Nair's most as his most mainstream film yet. "John was bowled over by the concept and immediately came on board," a source told Bollywood Hungama. The makers are planning to begin filming by year-end. The high-octane actioner is eyeing a late-2027 theatrical release.

Veteran action director and actor Vicky Kaushal's father, Sham Kaushal marked 46 years in the Hindi film industry on August 8, reflecting on his journey from Punjab to Mumbai in search of work. Sharing an emotional video on Instagram, he said, "I didn't come from my village in Punjab to join the film industry. I came in search of a job." He recalled friends helping him financially when he could not afford his union membership fee. Sham joined the Movie Stunt Artists' Association on August 8, 1980.
