Arbaaz Khan found himself in the spotlight for reasons unrelated to his latest professional appearance after a question about his brother Salman Khan prompted him to end a media interaction at a Mumbai event. A video of the moment has since surfaced online, showing the actor-producer walking away after being asked about Salman's recent comments on trolling.
Arbaaz attended an event at The Westin Mumbai Powai Lake on Friday, October 2, where he interacted with photographers and the media. During the conversation, a paparazzo asked him about Salman Khan's recent remarks concerning internet trolls on Bigg Boss 20.
Instead of responding, Arbaaz appeared to cut the interaction short. According to The Times of India, he simply said, "Excuse me... Thank you," before walking away.
Arbaaz later returned and questioned whether the reporter's query was connected to the event he was attending. He asked, "Jewellery se related tha? Aaj ke event se related tha woh sawal?"
The exchange has since drawn online attention, although Arbaaz has not publicly explained why he chose not to answer.
The question reportedly referred to Salman's recent comments about online trolling. On Bigg Boss 20, Salman spoke about the pressure celebrities face from trolls and also raised concerns over alleged paid trolling and the expectation that actors should publicly express views on political matters. The Times of India reported on the remarks following the episode.
It is not clear whether Arbaaz intended to comment on those remarks or simply wanted the media interaction to remain focused on the event he was attending.
This is not the first time Arbaaz has objected to Salman-related questions during a promotional appearance. At the trailer launch of Kaal Trighori in November 2025, he was reportedly questioned why a reporter was bringing Salman and his family into a discussion about his film. At the time, Arbaaz said the question could have been asked without mentioning Salman, according to Moneycontrol.
Arbaaz was most recently seen in Bihu Attack, directed by Suzad Iqbal Khan. The film also featured Dev Menaria, Daisy Shah and Rahul Dev, among others. For now, the viral interaction remains just that a brief exchange in which Arbaaz chose not to discuss his brother's comments. Whether he addresses the episode later remains to be seen.
