Shah Rukh Khan is back with yet another AskSRK session with fans on his X handle. Whenever, the actor decides to keep an AMA session with fans, it always has a hidden surprise. This time it is all about King's announcement. Shah Rukh Khan started the session by wishing the fans Happy Ganesh Chaturthi with a heartfelt post.
In the note, Shah Rukh wrote, "Happy Ganapati to all the boys and girls. Festivities and happiness around and may Bappa bring more of it in your lives. To add to happiness it's always better to share it with friends. So a bit of sharing and laughs let's do an AskSRK for a while if you all have the time. Love u."
The first question was also related to his Ganesh Chaturthi celebration as a fan wrote, how do they celebrate it at home. Shah Rukh revealed that they welcome Bappa home for 1.5 days and the family follows all the rituals, he wrote, "Wife does the Aarti and then the prayers and tonight will do the Visarjan. Kids and friends gather to hang around and laugh a lot. Very simple and family time."
With numerous questions on his upcoming film King, Shah Rukh has finally put an end to speculation surrounding the release date of his much-awaited action entertainer King. The superstar then confirmed that the film will hit theatres on December 24, 2026, dismissing rumours that its release could be pushed. A fan asked if King had become "sandwiched" between other releases and whether its date would change. Responding in his trademark witty style, Shah Rukh said, "Not at all....Baaki bread pieces ka bhi toh socho....hum toh center ki tasty Tikki hain."
He even shared a dialogue at fans request, that makes the anticipation for King even more exciting. In a short video he said, "Picture Abhi baaki hai! KING akela Kaafi hai!"
The actor also addressed the delay around the film's trailer and teaser. With the release about 100 days away, he asked fans to wait, assuring them that everything would arrive before December 24. He added that director Siddharth Anand is working hard on the promotional assets to ensure they put their 'best foot forward'. King stars Deepika Padukone, Suhana Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Jaideep Ahlawat, Abhay Verma and Arshad Warsi in key roles.
