Independence Day can be an occasion not only of celebrating national pride but also of understanding the responsibility that freedom comes with. This thought drove rapper Yeda Anna and hip-hop artiste Instine to create the track, Kar Dikha. "We wanted to make it clear that freedom means doing the right thing, even when nobody's watching. So, the lyrics are about the choices we make now," states Instine.

The song brings together stories of factory workers who keep industries running, neurodivergent employees, and Worli's youth using art and hip-hop to reclaim their narrative. Anna says understanding their hustle influenced the number, elaborating, "It pushed us to write lines that belong to everyone, not just to an artiste. I used slang and references that are from the gullies we grew up in."

According to the duo, the track can be described as "part anthem, part action manifesto." Anna adds that the idea is to inspire. "Speak up. Whether it's in your mohalla or your workplace, don't walk past injustice." Kar Dikha song is commissioned by RPG Group.
