Yash's children, Yatharv and Arya, recently watched Ramayana in a theatre, marking their first big-screen experience of their father's first film in a theatre. The actor attended the Los Angeles premiere of Nitesh Tiwari's mythological epic with his wife, Radhika Pandit and their children. However, after the screening, Yatharv had one complaint about his father. In a viral interview clip, Sai Pallavi revealed that Yash's son was unhappy with his father's character, Ravana, killing a bird in the Ranbir Kapoor-starrer. Yash also shared that his children had several questions while watching him on the big screen.

Yash's son cried after watching Ramayana

In an interview clip shared by an X user, Yash spoke about how his children had several questions after watching Ramayana. He explained that they are at an age where they are still learning about behaviour, respect and how to interact with others. As the actor began talking about his son's reaction, his Ramayana co-star Sai Pallavi interrupted him and decided to share the anecdote herself.

The actress said, "When we walked out of the theatre, I saw him (Yatharv) cry, and he said, 'I didn't like you killing the bird'. He knows that it is his daddy and that he has done movies before and that maybe they were acting. But he said, 'No, it's not nice. It's not good that you killed the bird even in the movie. I don't think you should have done that'. It was such a beautiful moment."

Yash on his son's reaction after watching Ramayana

In an earlier interaction, as reported by IANS, Yash revealed that his son was shocked after learning the story of Ramayana. Recalling Yatharv's reaction, the actor said his little one told him, "No, you're the bad guy! How can you do that?." Yash explained to his son that the makers had to portray the entire story so audiences could understand it in its entirety. Yash even encouraged him to look up to Lord Rama.

"I had to sit my son down and tell him: in this story, the central figure you must look up to is Lord Rama. Everyone should walk Rama's path. Ravana may appear grand, powerful, and imposing, but true, lasting victory in life only comes when you embody Rama's righteousness," he shared

Meanwhile, Ramayana: Part 1 is set to release theatrically on November 5.
