Actor Karisma Kapoor's ex-husband and businessman, Sunjay Kapur, has suddenly passed away at the age of 53 in the U.K. He reportedly died after suffering a heart attack. Reports claim he suffered a heart attack while he was playing polo and succumbed to it. He posted about the tragic Ahmedabad plane crash this morning.

Actor and author Suhel Seth confirmed the death on his X (formerly Twitter) account and offered his condolences, writing, "Deeply saddened at the passing of @sunjaykapur : he passed away earlier today in England: a terrible loss and deepest condolences to his family and to his colleagues @sonacomstar …Om Shanti"

Karisma Kapoor and Sunjay tied the knot in 2003. However, due to differences in their marriage, the couple parted ways in 2014. The businessman and the actor share two children, daughter Samaira and son Kiaan. He was currently married to Priya Sachdeva.
