Kajol and Ajay Devgn flew to Switzerland recently to watch their daughter Nysa receive her graduation. The star kid, who was studying at the Glion Institute of Higher Education in Switzerland, earned her Bachelor of Business Administration degree in International Hospitality, specialising in Luxury Brand Strategy. Now, Kajol took to her Instagram handle to share a video glimpse from the graduation ceremony.
Taking to Instagram, Kajol, on Tuesday, shared a video from the special day and penned a heartfelt note, expressing her joy and emotions as her "first baby" steps into adulthood. In the clip, Ajay, Kajol can be seen striking poses along with their children, daughter Nysa and son Yug. Nysa wore a sheer lilac saree for the occasion while Kajol wore a deep blue saree.
The video also shows the mother-daughter duo posing together for the camera. The Dilwale actress also added Rodell Duff's popular track "Good Days" as background track for the video.
Alongside the clip, the proud mommy captioned the video, "Such a special occasion .. so proud ⦠and wholly emotional.. #graduation #firstbaby #shesanadult."
Nysa graduated from the Glion Institute of Higher Education in Montreux, Switzerland, and the ceremony was streamed live on YouTube. Several clips from the ceremony surfaced online, and one of the videos shows Nysa receiving her degree, along with Kajol's emotional reaction.
In the viral clips, Nysa can be seen walking on stage as her name is called. Dressed in a black graduation robe, she smiles as she receives her degree, her grin widening as she hears her mother Kajol cheering loudly, saying, "Come on, baby!"
Actors and couple Kajol and Ajay Devgn are among the most prominent stars in the Indian film industry. Having started their careers in the 90s, both continue to deliver diverse and impactful performances. Now, all eyes are on their daughter Nysa, who is frequently spotted by paparazzi in the city. Recently, Kajol was asked if Nysa, like many other star kids, plans to join the film industry.
Speaking at a News18 event, Kajol addressed the speculation. When asked about Nysa's Bollywood debut, she gave a clear and firm response, "Bilkul nahi... No, I think... woh 22 saal ki ho gayi hai... hone wali hai abhi. I think she has made up her mind that woh nahi aane wali hai abhi." (Definitely not. I think she is 22 years old or about to be, and she has made up her mind that she will not be entering Bollywood at the moment.)
In April, Nysa turned 22, and her doting parents wished her with heartfelt posts on social media. Ajay shared a mirror selfie taken by Nysa, capturing a sweet father-daughter moment. In the photo, he stood behind Nysa dressed in black, while she smiled at the camera wearing a bright yellow jacket.
