Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana is undoubtedly one of the biggest cinematic spectacles that will present India to the world. After the makers released the Rama glimpse, they are now set to offer audiences a glimpse into the legacy of one of India's most timeless epics. Amid the ongoing chatter around the release date of its trailer, the makers officially announced when the trailer will be unveiled.
The makers, on July 11, announced that they are finally set to unveil the film's trailer to audiences worldwide on 24th July 2026. The team plans to take the audience across the borders, deeper into its extraordinary world with the trailer.
Planned as a two-part theatrical event, Ramayana: Part One is set to be a landmark big-screen spectacle that will bring one of India's most revered mythological stories to audiences across the globe on an unparalleled scale, emotion and cutting-edge visual storytelling. As the trailer release date is now out, the excitement has reached an all-time high.
Taking to their social media pages, the makers announced the trailer release date with a poster that read, "From Bharat to the World. For thousands of years, the Ramayana has inspired generations through its timeless ideals of dharma, maryada, courage and compassion. Now, it begins a new journey One of Bharat's greatest civilisational epics, presented to the world, at a scale never attempted before in Indian cinema. THE RAMAYANA TRAILER PREMIERES WORLDWIDE ON 24TH JULY."
Similarly, the caption read, "From Bharat to the world, the Ramayana trailer premieres worldwide on 24th July, 2026."
Drawing inspiration from one of the most celebrated Indian epics of all time, Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana features Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram and Sai Pallavi as Sita, as Yash takes on the role of Ravana. Similarly, Sunny Deol portrays Hanuman, and Ravi Dubey steps into the role of Lakshman.
Helmed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Namit Malhotra's Prime Focus Studios in association with 8-time Oscar-winning VFX studio DNEG and Yash's Monster Mind Creations, Ramayana will release worldwide in two parts. Part 1 during Diwali 2026 and Part 2 in Diwali 2027.
