The team of Ramayana, including the cast of Ranbir Kapoor, Yash and Sai Pallavi, are currently in Los Angeles for the grand premiere of their film ahead of its global release. The grand premiere was held at the David Geffen Theatre inside the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in LA. The cast was seen attending the premiere and posing on the red carpet, joined by Ramayana director Nitesh Tiwari and producer Namit Malhotra. Now, glimpses of their candid moments with fans and media interactions have surfaced on social media.
In one of the pictures, Ranbir, who plays Lord Ram, and Yash, who plays Ravana, are seen sharing a warm hug as they make a stylish entry at the premiere.
In another video, Ranbir Kapoor was seen making a stylish entry and greeting the fans. He even clicked selfies with the fans present at the venue.
Yash wore an all-black ensemble for the grand event. In one of the videos, the actor and co-producer was accompanied by his wife, Radhika Pandit, as the two held hands while posing at the red carpet. While Yash looked handsome in black, Radhika grabbed eyeballs too in a green and gold saree.
Ranbir Kapoor looked dapper in a beige sherwani with sunglasses, while Ramayana's lead actress Sai stole the show in a red embellished saree. Director Nitesh Tiwari was also accompanied by his wife and filmmaker, Ashwini Iyer Tiwari, as the couple posed for the shutterbugs.
Ramayana is a two-part epic reportedly mounted on a budget of Rs 4,000 crore. The film stars Ranbir as Lord Rama, Yash as Ravana, Sai as Goddess Sita, Ravie Dubey as Lord Lakshman, Sunny Deol as Lord Hanuman, among others. The supporting cast includes Arun Govil, Lara Dutta, Vivek Oberoi, Rakul Preet Singh, Indira Krishnan, Nitish Sharma, Kunal Kapoor, and others.
The first part of the epic is scheduled for a grand theatrical release on November 5, while the second part is rumoured to be delayed and arrive in 2028.
