Rani Mukerji has apparently signed on to a film backed up by hubby Aditya Chopra, in which Siddarth P Malhotra wields the megaphone. Malhotra had directed 2010's 'We Are Family'.
According to a report from DNA, after the birth of her daughter Adira, Rani Mukerji has been immersed in her motherly duties and hasn't found time or expressed any interest in signing another film.

Rani Mukerji's spokesperson said, "Rani will definitely be doing a film next year, but she is currently in the process of reading scripts. As soon as she decides, we will be able to announce it."
The untitled film supposedly deals with a strong social theme like her previous release 'Mardaani', in which she essayed a tough no-nonsense police officer, who gets embroiled in the dark, murky world of child trafficking.
