The Devil Wears Prada 2 is one of the most-awaited glamorous spectacles, inching closer to its release date. On April 28, actress Tamannaah Bhatia made a dazzling appearance at the screening of The Devil Wears Prada 2, making heads turn in a burgundy velvet David Koma piece.
Tamannaah's outfit featured a sculptural off-the-shoulder silhouette, paired with a knee-length textured leather skirt. Bhatia added character to her outfit with Balenciaga knee-length boots and minimal but striking jewellery by her own brand, Tamannaah Fine Jewellery, serving a fashionable sight to behold!
What makes Tamannaah Bhatia's fashionable appearance even more striking is how it connects to the pop icon Taylor Swift's appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. The star served major chic fashion goals in the David Koma piece paired with Aquazzura pumps in the same lush fabric. Swift kept the cranberry colour palette going with an elegant diamond and ruby necklace and finished her look with a delicate opal bracelet.
Tamannaah Bhatia, with her appearance at the film screening, brought back the Swiftie energy with her own bold twist. Whether it's getting clicked outside her recently launched jewellery store or making a standout appearance at the film's screening, Tamannaah is dressing to inspire and elevate the fashion realm!
Meanwhile, The Devil Wears Prada 2 proves that waiting for 20 years for this sequel was absolutely the right move. It reunites the versatile Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, Stanley Tucci and others in what seems to be another iconic title!
The first instalment, which was released in 2006, follows Andy Sachs, an aspiring journalist who gets a job at a fashion magazine but finds herself at the mercy of her demanding editor, Miranda Priestly.
20 years later, in the sequel, Andy Sachs is recruited to be the Features Editor at Runway and is forced to work alongside her former boss, Miranda Priestly. Miranda struggles against Emily Charlton, her former assistant turned rival executive, as they compete for advertising revenue amid declining print media while she nears retirement.
The film is set to release in theatres in India on May 1.
