The Tiger Shroff shooting incident has prompted several celebrities to come out in support of the actor. Now, Vidyut Jammwal has reacted to the incident, calling Tiger brave and questioning why people who witnessed the attack did not step forward to help. He also urged Mumbai Police to ensure such an incident does not happen again.
In the video, Vidyut shared, "Tiger Shroff, you are the bravest person, but I want to tell your fans that everyone who goes to watch him play football and says, âI am your biggest fan,' should have done something. Out of so many people, someone should have caught the attackers, or someone should have run after them."
He further said, "Mumbai Police, yes, you will provide him with security, but this should never happen again. If such a mistake happens again, you will be the ones held responsible."
"And Tiger, Bajrang Baan is your favourite, right? Whenever I feel very lonely, I listen to it, and I know you listen to it too. I love you, brother!" Vidyut concluded.
He wrote in the caption, "We know there's a lot happening in our country. Sometimes we can raise our voice, sometimes we can't, but WE do in our own way. But when we see someone being harassed or assaulted on the street (woman : man), why do we stand by and watch? Why can't one of us step forward, not just as witnesses, but as human beings? We need fewer spectators and more heroes."
The case pertains to the firing that took place around 7 pm on Sunday in the Juhu area of Mumbai, when actor Tiger Shroff was leaving a football club. The accused allegedly opened fire at the actor's car. Although the actor escaped direct gunshot injuries, his driver sustained injuries in the incident.
Three people were apprehended by Kota City Police in connection with the incident. According to the police, they were caught while travelling on a train. A case has been registered under Sections 109(1) and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), along with Sections 3 and 25 of the Arms Act. Further investigation is underway.
