A road near his Juhu residence was named âSangeetkar Bappi Lahiri Marg' in the presence of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Jeetendra and Jackie Shroff, among others. However, Jackie's presence caught attention as it came a day after the firing incident involving Tiger Shroff.
Jackie Shroff's visit to the ceremony grabbed attention as it came amid concern over Tiger's well-being following the firing incident, in which three motorcycle-borne men allegedly opened fire at the actor's car. The incident left Tiger's driver injured, while the actor was reported to be safe from any direct bullet injuries. The incident took place when Tiger Shroff was leaving a football club in Mumbai's Juhu area in a car.
As the actor narrowly escaped direct bullet injuries, his mother, Ayesha Shroff, had shared her first reaction, expressing gratitude for his safety. Speaking to India Today, she said, "God is great," while acknowledging that the family was shaken by what had happened.
The incident has led to a full investigation, with police reviewing CCTV footage and gathering forensic evidence to identify the culprits. Hindustan Times reported that 15 police teams are investigating the case. A purported social media post claiming responsibility for the attack has also circulated online.
Three accused arrested in connection with the firing incident targeting Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff were produced before a judge in Kota on Monday. They have been sent to 48-hour transit remand with the Mumbai Police. One of the accused arrested in the Tiger Shroff firing case has been identified as Hrithik Kumar, alias Roshan. The alias draws attention as Hrithik Roshan starred alongside Tiger in War.
