Richa Chadda falls sicks after smoking for 'Cabaret'

Richa Chaddha was required to smoke a cigarette for a scene in her next film, 'Cabaret'. The actor, who is otherwise a non-smoker, did indulge in smoking in order to give her best for the scene. However, as she was not able to give the perfect shot, she had to consume multiple cigarettes that took a toll on her health.

A source close to the actor informs, "She is not a smoker. So when she had to smoke one after the other on the day of the shoot, she fell unwell. So much so that she could not resume shooting. Looking at the condition, the film's team had to cancel the shoot for the day."

Interestingly, the actor could not turn up on set for the next two days as well. "She started feeling uneasy after smoking on set and then had to take rest for two more days. The schedule was supposed to be completed in four days but because she took rest for two days, the schedule got extended till a week," adds the source.

After completing the schedule, Richa has now started shooting for the 'Sarbjit' biopic. The actor's spokesperson confirmed the news.
