Sobhita Dhulipala and Naga Chaitanya got married on December 4, 2024. As the couple completes a year of marriage, Sobhita took to social media to share their wedding video. This is the first time the couple has shared glimpses from their grand wedding in Hyderabad. The couple had a traditional ceremony surrounded by their loved ones.
The wedding video also offers glimpses into the pre-wedding rituals. In the clips, Sobhita and Naga talk about their love and admiration for each other. The video beautifully captures the joyous ceremony as the two became husband and wife.
Sharing the video, Sobhita wrote, "The wind always blows homewards. Back in the Deccan and one trippy trip round the Sun with the man I call husband, I feel anew. As though purified by fire. One year as Mrs!"
Commenting on the post, Chaitanya wrote, "Blessed to be a part of your journey my love. happy anniversary."
Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala were married on December 4 at the iconic Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad, in the presence of close friends and family.
The wedding showcased stunning Telugu traditions, with rituals performed under the guidance of elders. The festive atmosphere was enriched by heartfelt blessings from loved ones who gathered to witness the moment.
For the special occasion, Sobhita wore a gold Kanjivaram silk saree with real gold zari, honouring her cultural heritage. She completed her look with temple jewellery. Chay looked elegant in a traditional white outfit.
Naga Chaitanya was previously married to actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu. They announced their separation on social media in a joint statement in October 2021.
In an earlier interview with Zoom, Chaitanya revealed their first meeting, "Our paths first crossed in Mumbai during the launch of my OTT series. Coincidentally, she also had a show on the same platform, and we met for the first time at an event organized by the streaming service."
Speaking about how their families bonded before the marriage, he had said, "It's been lovely getting to know Sobhita and her family. Watching the families interact has been a joy. I am really looking forward to the wedding day, going through all the rituals, and watching the families come together."
He added,"I am treated like a son. There has been a lot of comfort and many things in common from the beginning. Sobhita is a family girl, and we have celebrated a couple of festivals together".
