Kunal Kemmu and Preity Zinta's upcoming film Vibe is all set to hit the screens on September 18, 2026. Ahead of the film's release, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) passed the film with an 'A' rating. Notably, the film has not not receieved any visual cuts.
According to Bollywood Hungama, All the romantic and violent scenes in the film have been left untouched by the Examining Committee of the CBFC. However, the only change that the makers were asked was to mute the word 'B'''' C''''. Additionally, an anti-drug disclaimer was also asked to be added at the beginning of the film.
After the changes were made, Vibe was passed with an 'A' certificate by the CBFC. The runtime of the film mentioned on the censor certificate is 145.55 minutes. This means Vibe has a runtime of 2 hours, 25 minutes and 55 seconds.
Vibe stars Kunal Kemmu in the lead role. Interestingly, Kunal has also directed the film. Besides Kunal, the film also stars Preity G Zinta, Sparsh Shrivastava, Vanshika Dhir, Dinesh Lal Yadav aka Nirahua and Yashpal Sharma in pivotal roles. Notably, Vibe marks the second film of Preity Zinta after her comeback. Her comeback film, Batwara 1947 with Sunny Deol, which released last month, had also received an âA' rating.
An industry insider reportedly told the portal, "Vibe looks like a fun entertainer that can be enjoyed by adults as well as kids and teens. It seems to be in the zone of Kunal Kemmu's previous directorial, Madgaon Express (2024), which had received a U/A rating. Hence, its adult certification will come as a surprise for many."
Vibe is an action-thriller comedy film written, produced and directed by Kunal Kemmu, who also stars in the film with Preity Zinta, Sparsh Shrivastava and Vanshika Dhir in her debut role. Notably, this is Kemmu's second film as a writer and director after 2024's Madgaon Express. It also marks his producing debut
As seen in the Vibe trailer, the film revolves around two friends who are forced into a dangerous world of espionage after an unexpected event and find that their lives are in danger. The untrained duo must stop a massive attack together.
