Actress Priyanka Chopra celebrated her 44th birthday on July 18, and her husband Nick Jonas made sure the occasion was special with a romantic social media tribute. A day after unseen stills from her upcoming Telugu film Varanasi were released, Nick shared a glimpse of their personal celebration while expressing his love for the actor.
Taking to Instagram, Nick posted a video that appeared to capture a vacation moment in Spain. The clip featured scenic views from their yacht before shifting focus to Priyanka, who was seen enjoying the getaway. Dressed in a bikini with a cover-up, sunglasses and a bandanna, the actor smiled for the camera and appeared to blow a kiss towards Nick.
"Happy birthday, my love," Nick wrote in Spanish alongside the video, adding a heart emoji. The post was accompanied by the track Café de Granada - Acoustic Flamenco Guitar by Navrexo.
The birthday tribute quickly caught the attention of fans, with many appreciating the couple's affectionate bond and Nick's sweet gesture for his wife.
Priyanka and Nick's relationship began after the singer-actor first reached out to her through a direct message in 2016. The couple recently revisited the early days of their romance on the Jonas Brothers' podcast, where Nick shared the first message he sent to the actor.
Nick revealed that his brother Kevin Jonas had introduced him to Priyanka's work and encouraged them to connect. His first message read, "Hello. I've heard from a few people that we should meet. I have to agree with these people. Are you in LA anytime soon?"
The two stayed in touch before making a public appearance together at the Vanity Fair Oscars after-party in 2017. They later walked the Met Gala red carpet together, sparking dating rumours. Nick proposed in 2018, and the couple tied the knot later that year in a grand wedding ceremony in Udaipur.
In 2022, Priyanka and Nick welcomed their daughter Malti Marie through surrogacy. Since then, the couple has often shared glimpses of their family life and spoken about their relationship in interviews.
Meanwhile, Priyanka is set to return to Indian cinema with SS Rajamouli's ambitious Telugu film Varanasi. Starring Mahesh Babu as Rudhra and Prithviraj Sukumaran as Kumbha, the film features Priyanka as Mandakini.
On her birthday, the makers unveiled new stills from the film, showing Priyanka in a striking look. Varanasi is scheduled to release in April 2027.
