A video from her visit has gone viral on social media, showing the actress visibly overwhelmed as she stood in prayer at the Darbar Sahib. Dressed in traditional attire, Sara appeared deeply moved during the spiritual moment. As the video went viral, fans expressed how relatable the feeling is.
On Tuesday, Sara took to her official Instagram handle and uploaded a picture of herself and Ayushmann posing in front of the Golden Temple. Twinning in white ethnic wear, the co-stars faced the camera with their hands folded in front of the temple. Ayushmann and Sara are currently busy promoting their upcoming laughter ride, Udta Teer. Earlier this month, both of them were seen enjoying the rich culture of Punjab, imbibing the spirit of the place. Ayushmann, who is from Chandigarh, was seen savouring a big glass of traditional Punjabi lassi. Accompanying him, Sara was also enjoying her experience, exploring Punjabi culture.
Udta Teer is a spy comedy about a Pakistani spy named Bilal Ahmad, played by Ayushmann, who enters India and suffers from memory loss following an accident. After losing his memory, he mistakenly starts believing he is an Indian spy. The film is all set to release in cinemas on October 23, 2026.
Udta Teer is facing a ban in Nepal after it was denied permission to be screened publicly in the country. Nepal's Central Film Censor Board found the film in violation of a provision of the country's cinema law. Notably, the authorities have not yet revealed what exactly prompted the decision to ban the film or which scene violated the provisions.
