It was the 2021 film Hum Bhi Akele Tum Bhi Akele where we last saw Zareen Khan. Since then, the actress has been keeping away from the limelight. Now, as Bollywood has undergone a significant transformation, evolving from classic romantic movies to diverse genres that resonate with the masses, Zareen has shared her wish to embrace new challenges.

Filmmakers are now embracing a new kind of filmmaking and narratives, which are being received really well at the box office, and the success of films like the latest horror comedy 'Munjya' is proof. In fact, Yash Raj Films creating their own Spy Universe is also an example of the shift the Indian film industry is experiencing. Now is the time when engaging and innovative storytelling is being accepted just like the true blue commercial genres.

Zareen Khan, while talking about the new kind of cinema, has expressed her enthusiasm for this evolving trend. She mentioned her desire to be a part of scripts that are not only challenging but also resonate with audiences. "I'm excited to be part of this change and eagerly looking forward to being a part of scripts where I have the scope to showcase my acting capabilities. I am ready to embrace new challenges and I've always believed in pushing my boundaries to explore diverse characters," she said.

Workwise, Zareen Khan was last seen in the film Hum Bhi Akele Tum Bhi Akele. In the past few years, she has done music videos like Eid Ho Jayegi, Chann Chann, and others. For the unversed, she made her acting debut in Veer co-starring Salman Khan and this film instantly made her everyone's favourite. She acted in films like Housefull 2, Hate Story 3, Aksar 2, and 1921.

In 2013, Zareen made her Tamil debut in Naan Rajavaga Pogiren with a special dance song. She ventured into Punjabi cinema with Jatt James Bond in 2014. In 2019, Khan debuted in Telugu cinema with the action thriller Chanakya. Zareen did a cameo in the song Character Dheela from Ready, sharing the screen space with Salman.
