Border 2 is touted to be the biggest war film of Indian Cinema. The film is a sequel to the 1997 blockbuster, Border. The film has an ensemble cast featuring Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Ahan Shetty, Diljit Dosanjh and several others.
It will have newcomer Medha Rana as the female lead who will star opposite Dhawan. Much like the first part, this one too is set against the backdrop of 1971 India-Pakistan War. The cast is time and again sharing the update and the team recently wrapped up Amritsar schedule.
Lahore 1947 is a period drama film starring Sunny Deol, produced by Aamir Khan Productions and directed by Rajkumar Santoshi. The story is set during the 1947 Partition of India and revolves around a Muslim family that migrates from Lucknow to Lahore. Apart from Sunny Deol, the movie also stars Preity Zinta, Shabana Azmi, Ali Fazal, Abhimanyu Singh, and others.
Salman Khan is all set to be a part of Apoorva Lakhia’s Battle of Galwan. The film is based on the novel India's Most Fearless 3, which is set against the backdrop of the 2020 Galwan Valley Conflict. Salman will be seen playing the role of Colonel Bikumalla Santosh Babu, the valiant officer of the 16 Bihar Regiment who sacrificed his life for the nation.
The film stars Chitrangda Singh as the leading lady who will play pivotal role in the film. Apart from her, the cast includes- Zeyn Shaw, Ankur Bhatia, Harshil Shah, Heera Sohall, Vipin Bhardwaj, Abhilash Chaudhary, and others. While the film has gone on floors, its release is expected in mid-2026.
Directed by Sriram Raghavan, the film is based on the life of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal, who was the youngest recipient of the Param Vir Chakra, India's highest wartime gallantry award. It stars Agastya Nanda, Dharmendra, Jaideep Ahlawat in pivotal roles.
Excel Entertainment finally dropped the much-anticipated teaser of 120 Bahadur. The film is based on the incredible true story of the 120 Indian soldiers who held their ground during the Battle of Rezang La in 1962, one of the bravest last stands in Indian military history. It showcases Farhan Akhtar in a commanding avatar as the iconic Major Shaitan Singh Bhati, PVC, who remained unfazed in the -24-degree Celsius temperature in snow when the Indo-China war took place.
Gandhi is an upcoming biographical TV series based on the life of Mahatma Gandhi. Directed by Hansal Mehta, the show will span over three seasons. The series stars Pratik Gandhi in the lead role of Mahatma Gandhi and Bhamini Oza as Kasturba Gandhi. Moreover, the makers have acquired rights to Ramachandra Guha's biographies Gandhi Before India and Gandhi: The Years That Changed the World to tell the real story to the audiences.
Kalam: The missile man of India will trace Dr Kalam’s extraordinary journey from a modest childhood in Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu, to becoming one of India’s most respected scientists and ultimately, the President of India. It is helmed by Om Raut and stars Dhanush playing the titular role.
The series which is currently in production, boasts a power-packed cast led by Bhuvan Bam, Rohit Saraf, Pratibha Ranta, Gurfateh Pirzada and Jason Shah. It tells the powerful story of brave young Indian freedom fighters who believed that armed resistance was not just vital but indispensable to ending the British Raj. The Revolutionaries is a stirring tribute to their extraordinary lives, sacrifices, and their unwavering, undying love for their country.
Saare Jahan Se Acha is a spy thriller set against the backdrop of the 1970s. The story revolves around an Indian intelligence officer, Vishnu Shankar, played by Pratik Gandhi. He is on a mission to find and sabotage a looming nuclear threat on the country. The show also stars Sunny Hinduja, Suhail Nayyar, Tillotama Shome, Rajat Kapoor, Anup Soni, and Kritika Kamra.
Directed by Arun Gopalan, Tehran shows John Abraham in action mode who gets entangled in a life-threatening mission yet again. The film also stars Manushi Chhillar, Neeru Bajwa and Madhurima Tuli in pivotal roles. After facing delays, it is set to drop on ZEE5 on August 14, 2025.
