Harry Styles is set to return to The X Factor, a platform that made him shoot to stardom. The musician is reportedly being lined up for a guest slot on the show after his solo career got off to a storming start this year.

Simon Cowell is said to be keen to get Styles toperform on the show as a source adds that the singer is also keen to make a comeback. Cowell apparently sees him as a major ratings boost for the show.

Styles last performed with his One Direction bandmates on the show in 2015.
