Pop star Lady Gaga and her fiance, entrepreneur Michael Polansky, have reportedly welcomed their first child together. The couple, however, has chosen to keep details surrounding the newborn private, including the baby's name, sex and exact date of birth.
According to a report by Page Six, Gaga and Polansky were recently spotted with their new family in Northern California. The sighting is reportedly the first public glimpse of the couple as a family of three following the arrival of their baby.
Gaga, 40, and Polansky, 42, have maintained a relatively low profile in recent months. The singer was last publicly spotted in August, when she stopped to take a selfie with a fan in Northern California. Before that, she was seen at The Grove in Los Angeles in May. Representatives for Gaga and Polansky have not publicly commented on the reports.
The reported arrival of their first child comes after Gaga had spoken openly about her desire to embrace motherhood. In a March 2025 interview with The New York Times, the Grammy-winning singer discussed her hopes of starting a family and described motherhood as her ultimate goal.
Later that year, during an appearance on The Stephen Colbert Show, Gaga spoke about the possibility of raising a child and described it as her next "starring role". Her comments had sparked interest among fans about the singer's personal plans beyond her music and acting career.
Gaga and Polansky's relationship began in 2019, and the couple took their relationship a step further when they got engaged in March 2024. Since then, the pair have largely kept their personal life away from the spotlight.
The baby's arrival also comes after a busy period professionally for Gaga. She recently wrapped up her Mayhem Ball tour in April after nearly nine months on the road. The global tour included 86 shows and marked another major chapter in her music career.
While the singer has continued to remain visible professionally, she and Polansky appear keen to protect their privacy as they begin this new chapter. With no official announcement revealing the newborn's name, sex or birth date, fans are likely to have to wait for the couple to decide when, and how much, they want to share about their growing family.
