Global pop icon Lady Gaga is enjoying her time away from the spotlight as she embraces motherhood. As per reports, Gaga and fiance Michael Polansky have welcomed a baby girl named Rose Bean Polansky. The name reportedly has a special music connection, inspired by one of the associations.

According to the birth certificate obtained by TMZ, Rose Bean Polansky was born on June 9 at 11:19 PM at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

An insider tells PEOPLE that the name Rose is inspired by the song "La Vie En Rose," which Gaga famously covered in the 2018 movie A Star Is Born. The "Born This Way" artist also has a large tattoo on her spine of a single rose on a long stem, with the words "la vie en rose" written in script beside it.

Rose's middle name, Bean, likely comes from activist Carl Bean, who inspired Gaga's song "Born This Way," adds the source.

However, as per Page Six, Gaga and Polansky were recently spotted with their new family in Northern California, marking the first reported public sighting of the family of three. The arrival comes after months of a relatively private period for the Grammy-winning singer. Gaga, 40, and Polansky, 42, have kept a low profile in recent months. The singer recently completed her Mayhem Ball tour in April. The tour ran for nearly nine months and included 86 shows across the world.

Motherhood has also been a subject Gaga has spoken about publicly. In a March 2025 interview with The New York Times, she discussed her desire to start a family and described motherhood as her ultimate goal. Later that year, during an appearance on The Stephen Colbert Show, she said raising a child would be her next "starring role."

Gaga and Polansky first sparked a romantic connection in 2019 and became engaged in March 2024. In March, Gaga said they planned to get married "soon." On the work front, Gaga was seen surprising all with her cameo appearance in The Devil Wears Prada 2. Her song from Netflix's Wednesday was also considered for an Emmy.
