Leonardo DiCaprio is facing online trolling after pictures of him enjoying a beach day in Hawaii surfaced, with social media users taking aim at his physique and his much-discussed dating history.
The 51-year-old Titanic actor was photographed shirtless in the Pacific Ocean on Friday, wearing black-and-white patterned board shorts. He was joined by his girlfriend, Italian model Vittoria Ceretti, 28, as well as his longtime friend Tobey Maguire, 51, Friends star Courteney Cox, 62, and actor Kate Hudson, 47.
The group was in Hawaii ahead of the wedding of Maguire's ex-wife, jewellery designer Jennifer Meyer, to billionaire businessman Geoff Ogunlesi. However, pictures from the outing soon prompted online jokes about DiCaprio's appearance, with users drawing comparisons between his physique and the younger, model-like women he has dated.
DiCaprio has frequently been the subject of internet jokes about his dating preferences, particularly the recurring observation that several of his reported partners have been under 25. His relationship with Ceretti, who is 23 years younger than him, has once again brought the topic into the spotlight.
Reacting to the beach pictures, one user wrote, "It's the fact that he demands supermodel women while not taking care of his own damn body, for me," while another sarcastically commented, "He's a millionaire. You didn't know?"
The actor's appearance also became a target of personal jabs, with one user writing, "He's a man not a woman..." Another questioned his dating preferences with the remark, "I agree. At least Brad Pitt looks like he should be dating women 30 years younger. Leo looks like he should have a fat wife in her 50s."
DiCaprio, who turned 51 in November 2025, has been romantically linked to several models over the years. His relationship with Ceretti, who is 28, has also drawn attention because of their 23-year age difference.
The actor's dating history has become a recurring online talking point, with social media users frequently referencing the ages of his partners. The latest beach pictures have revived that conversation, as commenters use his appearance to poke fun at the contrast they perceive between DiCaprio and the women he dates.
