Spider-Man: Brand New Day, starring Tom Holland and Zendaya in the lead, has been creating big waves at the box office in India ever since it released on July 30. Now, the film has scripted history by becoming the first Hollywood film to cross the Rs 300 crore mark during its opening weekend.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day box office collection in India

The film, which had registered the biggest opening day collection for a non-Indian film on the day of its release, has now gone on to record a big boost in its collections over its opening weekend. With over Rs 300 crore in its bag, the film has also set a new benchmark for international releases in the country.

According to a Times of India report, Spider-Man: Brand New Day earned an impressive Rs 76 crore net on Day 4, that is Sunday, August 2, across 18,051 shows. Meanwhile, the film's gross collections hit an estimated Rs 90.89 crore, registering a strong 78.7 per cent occupancy nationwide.

Notably, Sunday's Rs 76 crore net earnings indicated a significant 8.2 per cent jump over Saturday's Rs 70.25 crore net collection. Additionally, the weekend numbers have also surpassed both the film's record-breaking opening day collection of Rs 60.60 crore net and its Friday earnings of Rs 49.35 crore net.

With Sunday's blockbuster collections, the superhero flick has now collected an estimated Rs 207.95 crore net and Rs 313.24 crore gross at the Indian box office within just four days of its release.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day international collections

Meanwhile, Spider-Man: Brand New Day earned USD 355 million in the United States and Canada on its opening weekend. With that, it has become the second-biggest debut in domestic box office history in the US and Canada behind 2019's Avengers: Endgame with USD 357 million.

Globally, Spider-Man: Brand New Day has grossed USD 572 million, with China leading international markets with USD 121 million in ticket sales. That brings the film's global opening total to USD 927 million. Meanwhile, in Australia, the film witnessed the biggest opening weekend of 2026, earning USD 30.4 million.
