Trust Zendaya to bring her A-game to the red carpet. The actress turned heads as she arrived for the premiere of her new film The Drama, co-starring Robert Pattinson. Known for embracing method dressing while promoting her projects, Zendaya leaned into the film's theme with her fashion choice.
Zendaya stars opposite Pattinson in The Drama, playing an engaged couple whose relationship is thrown off course during their wedding week due to secrets her character is keeping. In line with the storyline, she wore a white gown for the premiere on Tuesday night.
For the high-profile occasion, Zendaya chose an elegant bridal-white, off-the-shoulder gown crafted from shimmering satin. The full-length dress featured a structured corset-style bodice and was accented with a delicate tulle drape at the neckline that flowed down her back.
The look was styled by her longtime collaborator Law Roach. To complement the gown, Zendaya wore diamond chandelier earrings and a collection of jewelled rings, including a prominent diamond engagement ring and a slender gold band. Interestingly, she first wore the Vivienne Westwood outfit in 2015 for her debut appearance at the Academy Awards.
Meanwhile, Zendaya's new ring sparked speculation that she may be married to actor Tom Holland. However, the star has not confirmed the rumours and explained why she prefers to keep her personal life private.
"I think there's a balance between hiding and also just living your life, enjoying your life, and protecting things that are special to yourself. I think everyone has to do that in some way," she told The Associated Press at the film's premiere.
She arrived at Tuesday's event wearing what appeared to be a wedding band next to a large ring, which first triggered engagement rumours at January's Golden Globe Awards.
Her representatives declined to confirm whether the couple are married, even after Law Roach recently teased journalists that the wedding had already taken place.
"Whatever kind of job you have, whatever field you're in - or if you're dealing with social media - we all have to learn how to keep things for ourselves and pour into ourselves just as much as we pour into the world or our work," Zendaya added. She declined to reveal who designed her rings.
