BTS' latest Bogota concert has left their fans worried over their safety after a flying object appeared near V, Kim Taehyung, J-Hope and Jimin during the IDOL Parade. While fans initially believed something had been deliberately thrown toward the members, additional angles and fan clarifications indicate that at least one object may have been an accessory that accidentally came loose. Nevertheless, a bodyguard quickly intercepted it before it reached J-Hope.

Flying object at BTS concert raises concerns

The now-viral videos from BTS' Bogota concert have led to different interpretations. Members V (Kim Taehyung), J-Hope and Jimin are seen in the vicinity when the object appeared near them.

One fan account claimed that an object came from the stands and almost reached V. However, a security guard reacted quickly and stopped it from hitting the singer. Some fans even questioned if J-Hope could have been at risk given the object's trajectory.

However, the available videos do not establish if the object was deliberately thrown at the members, its exact identity and how it reached the area.

ARMY reacts

Nevertheless, the incident has prompted fans to demand stronger safety measures from HYBE. One fan on X wrote, "We demand HYBE and the concert organisers truly strengthen security to protect the boys and the audience alike." Another fan called for consequences, writing, "I hope HYBE and concert promoters start kicking out concertgoers who throw things at BTS." These remain fan claims and reactions, not independent confirmation of intent.

While BTS continue their world tour, fans are now calling for both concertgoers and organisers to manage things well so that all seven members can perform safely. This is not the first time the safety of the BTS members has become a widely discussed topic on the internet.

V had earlier addressed the issue of fans gathering around thier hotels during tours. V had urged fans to respect the group's privacy by refraining from gathering around hotels.

Meanwhile, on the digital front, BTS Jungkook was targeted in cybercrime fraud recently. The hacker was subsequently caught and sentenced to 20 years in prison for the same.
