BTS announces comeback album
BTS is back and how?! The much-loved K-pop boy band consisting of seven members recently completed their compulsory military service and returned earlier this month, making headlines with their much-awaited reunion. Following a mini reunion at J-hope's concert, the boys recently came together for a live session with fans, marking their reunion for the first time in 3 years, wherein all 7 members were present. If that wasn't enough to excite the fans, they have officially confirmed their comeback album!
RM, V, J-Hope, Jungkook, Jimin, Suga and Jin recently went live on Weverse together, where they announced their new album. The band members came together to surprise their fans, also known as ARMY, by hosting a live session. According to their announcement, BTS's highly anticipated comeback album will be released next spring, that is in the first half of 2026.
The boys casually started the video saying, "Hello, we are BTS!" and then dropped the most awaited news for ARMYs across the globe. Additionally, they also confirmed that all seven of them will start preparing for their comeback from this month, that is, July 2026.
That wasn't all. They also had another major announcement to have the ARMYs from all over the globe beaming with joy. They announced that they would also like to do a World Tour in Spring 2026. This was confirmed by the BTS leader, Kim Namjoon, aka BTS RM.
Apart from the new album, the K-pop boy band is also set to release their first-ever live album, titled Permission to Dance On Stage - Live, which will feature 22 tracks from their world tour. Their agency, BigHit Music, via a Weverse post, announced that the live album will be released on July 18, 2025. The album will include recordings from their live performances.
The agency's statement read, "We're thrilled to announce the release of the tour's live album, PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE - LIVE. This album vibrantly captures the passion and touching moments of the concert, featuring 22 tracks infused with the purple memories created by BTS and ARMY. As we reflect on these radiant moments shared by BTS and ARMY, we eagerly await the day we can passionately reunite at a concert. We look forward to your continued love and support for BTS, and we hope these memories will be forever stored in your heart."
