BLACKPINK's Jennie is known worldwide for her music, performances and stardom, but she revealed what she would do if she weren't a part of the entertainment industry. The K-pop sensation recently got candid about an alternative career she sees herself pursuing if she weren't a musician.
During her recent appearance on Rolling Stone's Musicians On Musicians segment with Tame Impala frontman Kevin Parker, Jennie said that working with animals would be her preferred career if she ever decided to step away from music. The singer further explained that she would enjoy a profession that allows her to spend more time with animals and helps her keep human interactions to a minimum.
Jennie shared, "I've said this but like working with animals for sure." She added, "I would pick something where it involves not muh conversations with humans."
Jennie also expressed her wish to build a bond with animals and look after them. "I could be great friends to animals and take care of them," she said, sharing that it is a job she believes she would genuinely enjoy.
However, she went on to clarify that considering another career does not mean she wants to leave music behind. She added that people often wonder about the different possibilities in life. "It sounds like a job that I would enjoy not that I don't wanna be in music. Just sometimes you think about these things," she concluded.
Interestingly, during an early conversation with Cosmopolitan, Jennie had shared that she has many of plans for the time she wishes to spend away from her demanding music schedule. The singer-rapper said she was looking forward to travelling across Europe, unwinding on sunny beaches while enjoying leisurely moments by the water with an Aperol Spritz. Apart from travelling, she also wants to explore things that allow her to embrace a more relaxed lifestyle.
Be it experimenting with fashion or hosting intimate dinner parties for her friends, Jennie, who recently joined The Weeknd on stage, seems to be keen on making room for experiences that often get neglected amid a busy career. She is also willing to learn how to make elegant cocktails and add another skill to her list of things to try during her planned break.
