Global K-pop superstars BTS are set to mark a historic return with a large-scale global comeback that includes a live concert event and an exclusive Netflix documentary, bringing the group back together after completing their mandatory military service. The announcement has sparked massive excitement among fans worldwide, as this will be the first time all seven members perform together on a global broadcast in years.
The live concert, titled BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE | ARIRANG, is scheduled to stream exclusively on Netflix on March 21 at 8 pm KST. The performance will take place at Seoul's iconic Gwanghwamun Square, a location known for its cultural and historical significance. The event will celebrate the release of BTS's fifth studio album, ARIRANG, which is set to drop a day earlier on March 20.
Produced in collaboration with HYBE, the live-streamed concert is expected to showcase BTS's new musical direction while also delivering emotionally charged moments for fans, known as ARMY. Along with fresh tracks from ARIRANG, the performance is likely to include special segments reflecting on the group's journey, reunion, and time apart.
Following the live concert, Netflix will release an in-depth documentary titled BTS: The Return on March 27. The film will offer an intimate look at the band's creative process, documenting their reunion and the making of ARIRANG. It will also explore how the members reconnected personally and artistically after several years away from the spotlight as a full group.
In addition to the Netflix projects, BTS has also announced the ARIRANG World Tour (2026-2027), marking their first major global tour since their hiatus. The tour is expected to span multiple continents, including Asia, North America, Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East, further cementing the group's global influence.
Since debuting in 2013, BTS: RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook, has transformed the global music industry with record-breaking albums, sold-out stadium tours, and a fiercely loyal international fanbase. Their upcoming concert, documentary, and world tour collectively position BTS's return as one of the most anticipated pop-culture moments of 2026.
