BTS has once again sent Indian ARMYs into a frenzy after the K-pop superstars spoke about the possibility of visiting India in a new video featuring Google India and Google Gemini. While there is still no official announcement about an India tour or a Mumbai concert, the conversation has given fans plenty to get excited about.
The video features all seven BTS members RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook greeting Indian fans with a cheerful "Namaste India". Jin then surprised fans by addressing them in Hindi, saying, "Kaise hain aap sab? Humne aapko miss kiya!" The brief message was enough to trigger an immediate wave of reactions from Indian fans on social media.
The conversation soon turned to the group's long-awaited India visit. V pointed out that BTS have not performed in India yet, while Suga acknowledged the band's massive Indian fanbase and expressed his desire to meet fans in the country someday. J-Hope then asked where the group should visit if they were to embark on an India tour.
RM suggested using AI to find recommendations, leading to a particularly exciting Mumbai reference. Google Gemini recommended Khotachiwadi in Girgaon, a heritage village known for its Portuguese-style homes and old-world charm. The suggestion appeared to interest the members, with V reacting to the description and J-Hope expressing curiosity about visiting the neighbourhood.
Suga, meanwhile, had a more immediate concern food. When the group discussed what they could explore in India, an Indian thali was suggested, adding another desi touch to the conversation.
The Mumbai mention quickly became a talking point among fans, many of whom began speculating about a possible future concert in the city. However, it is important to note that the video does not confirm any India tour, Mumbai concert or performance dates. Fans will therefore have to wait for an official announcement before treating the exchange as confirmation.
The excitement comes as BTS continue their ARIRANG World Tour, which began in April 2026 and is scheduled to run through 2027. India is not currently listed among the announced destinations, but the members' acknowledgment of their Indian fanbase has renewed hopes that the country could eventually become part of their touring plans.
For Indian ARMYs, however, the message was enough to revive a long-standing dream: seeing BTS perform live in India, with Mumbai now adding an extra spark to that possibility.
