BTS has returned to the K-pop scene after each of its seven members completed their military service. Following their comeback in June, the vocalists travelled to Los Angeles for a few months to reunite and write their new album. The septet is said to have been working with award-winning songwriters and producers, and they hope to release a comeback album in the spring of 2026. According to reports, the trio will embark on a world tour from May to December of this year following the release of their new album.
According to Finance News, Kim Hyun Young, a researcher at Hyundai Motor Securities, stated on September 30 that the 2026 BTS world tour will last eight months, from May to December next year, with 65 performances planned and an audience of 4 million people expected to attend. Aside from that, the average number of spectators per show is predicted to exceed 60,000; in the meantime, the group's operating profit is expected to reach 100 billion KRW in the second quarter of next year, following the tour's launch.
On the other hand, BTS is preparing to have a two-week event from September 24 to October 5. They will show four concert pictures in 2,500 theaters in 65 locations around the world. Keeping the excitement high, the group is preparing for pop-up store events in several places around the world, leading up to their world tour next year.
Currently, the members are back in South Korea, where they are claimed to be working on the recording and planning aspects of their album, with the concept already in place. Some travel in and out of the nation for brand commitments, including appearances at Milan and Paris Fashion Week.
Recently, BTS member V, also known as Kim Taehyung, has purchased a new luxury property in Seoul's Cheongdam-dong district. According to Sportschosun.com, V purchased the house on September 17 based on a "certified copy of the real estate register". This comes only a few months after his discharge from the South Korean military.
V's new home spans 273.96 sq meters and costs 14.2 billion won (Rs 89.8 crore). The house has five rooms and three bathrooms. According to reporting, there is "no establishment of a collateral security right on the register" , and thus "it is presumed that the purchase was made in full cash without a mortgage loan." V signed the contract in May, roughly a month before being dismissed from the service. He obtained ownership this month after the remaining sum was paid.
