Filmmaker Raj Nidimoru and actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu tied the knot on December 1 at the Ling Bhairavi temple inside the Isha Yoga Center in Coimbatore. After their wedding, rumours about Raj Nidimoru's marital status with ex-wife Shhyamali De surfaced on social media. Claims were rife that he married Samantha without divorcing her. Now, she has shared a cryptic note after their wedding, stating how she is having sleepless nights.
She took to her Instagram Stories and began by thanking everyone for their kindness. "Thank you for all the kindness - the good wishes, the warm words, and all the blessings. I spent a sleepless night, tossing and turning and debating, and realised it would be ungrateful and churlish to not acknowledge all the good that is coming to me."
She added, "I have been practising Meditation on Twin Hearts for many years now. Doing the meditation involves blessing Mother Earth and all persons and beings with peace, love, forgiveness, hope, light, joy, loving-kindness, goodwill, and the will to do good."
She clarified that she has no PR team or staff managing her pages. "I have no team, no PR, no staff or associates managing my page. I am personally responding while dealing with something that needs my full presence."
Shhyamali further requested everyone to keep the space clean, as her guruji was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and she is upset about it. "I am sure you all will understand where my attention must be right now. So, a humble request: please keep this space clean. Thank you... thank you... thank you... May every person, every being be blessed with good health, happiness, prosperity, and spirituality."
She concluded by stating, "Anyone looking for drama and breaking news, you won't find it here. Urge you to leave. Not looking for - attention, media coverage, exclusive interviews, brand promotions, paid partnerships, sympathy. Not trying to sell anyone anything."
Raj and Shhyamali tied the knot in 2015. The two have never confirmed their divorce, even though several reports claimed that they ended their marriage in 2022. After the wedding ceremony of Raj and Samantha, Shhyamali's friend claimed that the filmmaker is still married to his first wife.
On Sunday, ahead of the wedding, the writer-healer posted on her Instagram Stories, "Desperate people do desperate things." The post quickly gained traction, with many wondering whom it was aimed at.
