Jiya Shankar and Abhishek Malhan's equation has been in the news ever since they participated in Bigg Boss OTT Season 2. Recently, rumours were swirling that they are all set to take their relationship to the next level and are getting engaged. However, Jiya debunked the rumours by sharing a pic with a mystery man. Now, Abhishek angrily reacted to the claims and made his stance clear.
Taking to his Instagram Stories, Abhishek strongly reacted and wrote, "I want to make one thing very clear - please stop linking my name with anyone. I was part of a show three years ago, and that chapter ended there. My choices and stance were made very clear back then, and nothing has changed since."
Abhishek added, "What's disappointing is that this has become a pattern. Almost every year, out of nowhere, the same narratives resurface without any reason or context. Even I can see it, and I believe the audience is smart enough to notice this pattern too."
Concluding his statement, Abhishek urged fans and social media users to respect his boundaries and allow him to focus on his career. He wrote, "I don't entertain or participate in such games, assumptions, or unnecessary speculation. I prefer focusing on my work and moving forward positively. I request everyone to respect that and let things rest."
Jiya Shankar took to her social media handle and shared an adorable photo with a mystery man to dismiss the rumours. In the photo, the man was seen giving a peck on Jiya's forehead, and she hid his face with a red-heart emoticon. "Let's leave false rumours in 2025!" she wrote.
However, in 2024, Jiya clarified that they had never been more than just friends. "Saying this for ONE LAST TIME to whoever it concerns! I've got nothing to do with Fukra Insaan or these meme pages. We shared nothing but friendship, & even that no longer exists. I don't even follow any of these meme pages or have any knowledge of how this works. I always assumed them making this sort of stuff for views, or I've no idea if someone pays for this s''', but if the blame comes on me with nasty comments on my character & family, then hear it, Panda Gang, I'M SELF-MADE, LOUD & PROUD!"
