Bigg Boss 17 fame Anurag Dobhal's ongoing family feud has now taken a legal turn. The Bigg Boss 17 fame was arrested along with three associates over allegations of assaulting and attempting to kill his cousin-in-law, Raj Singh Chauhan. The development comes days after he also met with a fatal accident. His wife has also levelled serious allegations against him.
Anurag Dobhal was arrested on Tuesday along with three of his associates for allegedly assaulting and attempting to kill his cousin-in-law, Raj Singh Chauhan. According to a report by ETV Bharat, the Nehru Colony police registered a case against Anurag and several others based on a complaint filed by Raj.
As per the report, Raj works at a Nexa car showroom. On October 5, around 6 PM, Anurag allegedly arrived at the showroom with a few young men to meet him. Since Raj was occupied with work, he reportedly suggested that they meet later.
Later that evening, at about 8 PM, Raj went to Yellow Hills Cafe, where Anurag and his associates were supposedly waiting in a car. According to Raj's complaint, an altercation erupted during their conversation, the report stated. Raj alleged that Anurag threatened him during the altercation, saying that he had committed two murders and no one could harm him. He further alleged that Anurag grabbed him by the neck from behind and tried to take his mobile phone.
Raj also alleged that one of the accused threatened him while carrying a knife and a gun. Ritika shared another video on social media and accused Anurag of making false claims about being threatened by her family. She also shared her brother's medical report, highlighting the injuries he allegedly sustained during the incident.
For the uninitiated, Anurag Dobhal posted an emotionally distressing vlog, claiming it could be his last message. He alleged that he had been subjected to severe mental harassment by his family after opting for an inter-caste marriage. The controversy intensified after Anurag met with an accident on the Meerut-Delhi highway during an Instagram Live session. At the time, Ritika Chauhan stood by him. The couple even welcomed their first child amid this traumatic phase.
