Addressing the rumours of joining the reality show, Bhagirath took to his Instagram handle and wrote, "For the past few days, I have been getting a lot of questions on Instagram and social media about whether I'm entering Bigg Boss 20 or not. Thank you so much for all your love and curiosity, but I want to make it clear. I am not going to Bigg Boss 20. Honestly, I don't think I am made for a show like that. I am a believer in calm music; peaceful music has always been my inspiration. Once again, thank you all for your endless love and blessings."

The musician thanked people for their curiosity and support before making his position clear: he is not going to be a part of Bigg Boss 20. Bhatt also explained that he does not believe he is suited to the format of the popular reality show.

All about the sitarist

According to the sitarist, the high-voltage environment of Bigg Boss, which often involves arguments, confrontations and dramatic exchanges, does not match his personality. He said he is "not someone who can shout or create unnecessary noise", adding that his world is centred around calm and peaceful music.

Bhatt's response comes after months of speculation surrounding his possible entry. Earlier reports had suggested that his name was among those being considered for the milestone 20th season, making him one of the more unexpected names linked to the Salman Khan-hosted show.

Known primarily for his work as a classical musician, Bhatt has successfully combined Indian classical music with mainstream cinema. His sitar contributions have featured in films and series such as Padmaavat, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, Border 2, Bandish Bandits and Heeramandi.

However, with Bhatt's latest clarification, viewers can now rule out his participation in the upcoming season. Meanwhile, speculation around the remaining Bigg Boss 20 contestants continues, with several names being discussed ahead of the September 6 premiere.
