Divyanka Tripathi quashes rumours of participating in Salman Khan's Bigg Boss 19: 'Fake'

Divyanka Tripathi, who was rumoured to be approached by the makers of Bigg Boss for its upcoming season, has put an end to all rumours. The actress revealed that she is not entering Bigg Boss 19.

Recently, rumours of TV actress Divyanka Tripathi entering the Bigg Boss Season 19, hosted by Salman Khan, had been making rounds. As the upcoming season approached, it is already making headlines as the makers are in the process of approaching various celebrities for the upcoming season. Meanwhile, there are rumours about makers approaching Divyanka Tripathi to participate in the show. However, the actress has now put an end to all rumours by addressing the speculations.

Divyanka Tripathi reacts to Bigg Boss 19 rumours

In an exclusive conversation with Telly Talk, while talking about the rumours, Divyanka Tripathi stated, "Fake, they spread such news every year." With her statement, she put an end to the ongoing buzz around her participation in the show.

Earlier on Wednesday, a post shared by Bigg Boss Tak on X (formerly Twitter), claimed that both Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya and Sharad Malhotra have been approached for Bigg Boss 19. It added that the two are "likely to be confirmed." The caption on the post read, "EXCLUSIVE: Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya and Sharad Malhotra have been approached for Bigg Boss 19. Likely to be confirmed."

For the unversed, Sharad and Divyanka dated for nearly eight years before splitting in 2015. Since then, both of them have moved on and are happily married. While Sharad is married to Ripci Bhatia, Divyanka is enjoying her married life with Vivek Dahiya.

Other celebrities approached for Bigg Boss 19

According to the fan page, several popular TV actors and digital influencers have reportedly been considered and approached for Bigg Boss 19. The list of rumoured contestants includes Rati Pandey (Miley Jab Hum Tum), Hunar Hali, Apoorva Mukhija (aka The Rebel Kid), Mr. Faisu, Dhanashree Verma, Sreeram Chandra, Meera Deosthale, and Bhavika Sharma.

In addition to these, former Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah actors Shailesh Lodha, Gurucharan Singh, and Jennifer Mistry are also rumoured to be approached for the show. Earlier, there were reports of a UAE-based robot named Habubu entering the Bigg Boss 19 house. However, later, a report by The Indian Express suggested that the idea may have been dropped by the makers.
