Khatron Ke Khiladi is back with its 15th season, promising bigger stunts, tougher challenges and plenty of unexpected twists. Contestant Jasmin Bhasin, who has previously been part of the adventure reality show, says this edition truly lives up to the tagline 'Darr Ka Naya Daur'. In an exclusive conversation with mid-day, the actress opened up about the physically demanding challenges, injuries on set, her favourite stunt partner and what viewers can expect from her this season.
Reflecting on her third stint on the show, Jasmin admitted that nothing could have prepared her for the intensity of this season. "This third experience was totally 'Darr Ka Naya Daur'. I really didn't know that this new one is going to be this dangerous. My former experiences on the show didn't help me at all. It was a crazy season. All the stunts were very dangerous, but personally I hate electricity ones the most."
According to Jasmin, the challenges took a toll on every contestant, with injuries becoming an unavoidable part of the competition. "This time, all of us have had some or other injury or something has happened with each one of us in these stunts. You see in one stunt Shagun is fainting, in one stunt Rubina is going in the ambulance. This is just the beginning, there are bigger things that happened on the show that you will watch in this season."
The actress believes that Khatron Ke Khiladi is unlike any other reality show because every stunt presents an entirely new challenge, making prior experience almost irrelevant. "Khatron is such a show where no training, no experience will work, because every time it is a new war for you. Every stunt is a new experience. I had jitters by seeing most of the stunts. Especially the water stunts, it was so cold, and the water would be freezing. I am much better now, but I will take a whole year to recover from its after effects. It is a physically challenging show as well."
While the season tested her limits, Jasmin also had moments of fun on set. She revealed that one of her favourite experiences was performing a stunt alongside social media sensation Orry. "One stunt with Orry which I did was the most fun. It is super entertaining and you will enjoy watching us doing the stunt together."
Teasing what fans can expect from her journey, Jasmin hinted that the audience will witness a completely different side of her personality. "You will see a lot of different sides of me in this season. Sides that I didn't know I had. A lot of filmy things happened with me which you all will get to see on the show."
With dangerous stunts, unexpected injuries and emotionally charged moments, Jasmin's journey on Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 promises to be one of the season's biggest highlights.
