Vatsal Sheth and Ishita Dutta, a popular television couple, just welcomed their second child, a baby girl, in early June, bringing enormous delight to their growing family.
The proud parents have finally revealed her name in the most heartwarming way.
Ishita took to social media and shared a delightful video of a special naming ceremony attended by close family members. In the video, the couple is shown excitedly swinging their baby girl in a traditional fabric cradle while surrounded by loved ones.
Veda was welcomed with the words, "Holi joli peepal paan⦠ben ehh paadyu VEDA naam," indicating her birth. Balloons spelling out her name added a charming touch to the ceremony, giving it a festive and personal feel.
The couple married in an intimate ceremony on November 28, 2017, in Mumbai, and they already have their first child, boy Vaayu, who will be born in 2023. With Veda's arrival, their family feels "complete," as Ishita stated in a previous post.
Ishita shared a heartwarming image from the hospital when she announced the birth of their daughter earlier in June. The shot, which soon went viral, showed little Vaayu compassionately staring at his newborn sister, perfectly capturing the family's emotional milestone.
Ishita captioned the photo: "From two to four hearts beating as one." Our family is finally complete, blessed with a baby girl."
Fans and Industry pals swarmed the comments area with congratulations, thanking the pair for the lovely way they announced the news. Ishita and Vatsal are known for keeping their personal lives warm and private, and they continue to captivate viewers not only with their on-screen performance but also with their poignant family moments.
Earlier, Ishita detailed about her massive weight loss during postpartum. Ishita offered a simple overview of her postpartum diet routine. "I've been eating a very healthy diet with no sweets and plenty of vegetables, nuts, seeds, and fruits. I've also been eating soups and no junk stuff." She emphasised balance and simplicity, explaining that her meals are mostly handmade and cooked with less oil. "All ghar ka less oil khana and smaller, frequent meals," she stated in an email.
Ishita also credits breastfeeding for her quick weight loss. "Breastfeeding causes you to lose a lot of calories," she explained, emphasising how natural processes paired with a healthy diet may make a big impact after delivery.
