Speaking about the role, Jayati shared that the character is still evolving within the storyline. "Right now, Shalini Batra's character is being developed. I don't know whether she is a positive or negative character. As the story progresses, Shalini Batra will continue to grow. I do know that she has returned from London and runs an NGO and an ashram where she takes care of underprivileged children. There is definitely a backstory to Shalini, and only time will tell whether Sharda and Shalini are the same person. That's going to be interesting," she revealed.

Her statement has only deepened speculation about whether Shalini is truly a new character or somehow connected to Sharda. The ambiguity promises gripping drama in the episodes ahead.

Jayati also expressed her happiness about returning to the set after a brief break. Reflecting on her bond with the cast and crew, she said, "I missed my entire team. They constantly stayed in touch and kept asking when I would return. When I informed Bharat that I would soon start shooting for the show, he was like, ‘Oh, my aunt is back!' He sounded so happy. Even I was eager to know when my character would come back into the storyline."

With Shalini Batra's entry, the show is gearing up for a compelling new chapter. Whether she brings harmony or upheaval into Raghav and Reet's lives remains to be seen, but one thing is certain her presence will not go unnoticed.
