'Block and report': Karan Tacker warns fans of imposter posing as his manager to scam people

Actor Karan Tacker recently took to social media to alert fans about a fraud attempt involving him. He shared that some individuals falsely posing as his manager are reaching out to people in his name and misleading them to carry out scams.

The actor urged people to remain careful and report any such suspicious individuals immediately. Karan took to his Instagram handle to alert fans. He wrote, "Hi, someone using the numbers below is falsely posing as my manager and trying to scam people. If they contact you, please block and report them. Thank you."

Along with the message, he also shared the contact numbers of the individuals involved in the scam.

On the work front, Karan Tacker, who started his acting career with a small role in the 2008 film Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, has gone on to become a well-known name in the television and OTT space. He became a household name with television with shows like Love Ne Mila Di Jodi and Rang Badalti Odhani. However, his breakthrough came with the daily soap Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai, which brought him widespread fame and recognition.

He has also appeared in the OTT series Special Ops, where he played an undercover intelligence officer alongside Kay Kay Menon. He later reprised the role in the sequel, Special Ops 1.5: The Himmat Story, in 2021. Later, in 2022, he appeared as IPS officer Amit Lodha in Khakee: The Bihar Chapter. Most recently, the actor was seen in Bhay: The Gaurav Tiwari Mystery.

Earlier, during the trailer launch event of the show, Karan opened up about the challenges he faced while portraying the role. He shared it gave him sleepless nights. He added that he even once asked his mother to stay with him until he was able to fall asleep.

Karan said, "I don't want to sound very overindulgent as an actor, but for me, especially when it came to playing this part, I really had a challenge switching off from the heaviness of what you do on set, and you come back home. There have been so many times when I've messaged my mom on my way back home from work, saying, 'Mom can you just stay up for me?'"
