As Mangal Lakshmi prepares to bid farewell to viewers, actor Naman Shaw is looking back on the memorable journey and the relationships he built along the way. The popular television show is set to air its final episode on June 26, while the cast is set to wrap up filming on June 20.
One of the highlights of Naman's experience on the show was working alongside co-star Deepika Singh. Reflecting on their equation, the actor revealed that their bond took time to develop and evolved gradually over the course of the show.
"Initially, it took us a few months to understand each other her temperament, her moods, and the way she worked. But over time, we developed a strong understanding and comfort level with one another," Naman shared.
The actor added that their friendship grew stronger with time, allowing them to communicate effortlessly both on and off the set.
"Now, I completely understand her, and she understands me really well too. I know how to cheer her up, and whenever I want to tell her something, I usually do it in a humorous way. We have our own inside jokes that only the two of us understand, which makes our bond even more special," he said.
Speaking about their on-screen partnership, Naman credited their professional approach and mutual respect for the chemistry that resonated with audiences.
"She's extremely professional when it comes to performing scenes, and that professionalism reflects on screen. I believe that's one of the main reasons our chemistry connected so well with the audience. There was always mutual respect, trust, and comfort between us, which helped us bring our characters to life in a very authentic way," he explained.
Naman also highlighted the creative understanding they shared while filming the show.
"We were always on the same page creatively, and that made every scene enjoyable to perform. Looking back, I can say it was a truly memorable and rewarding collaboration," he said.
With Mangal Lakshmi set to go off air, Naman described the experience as the conclusion of a special chapter in his career. While the show may be ending, the memories, friendships, and professional bonds forged during its run are likely to remain with the actor for years to come.
