YouTuber and Bigg Boss OTT 3 fame Armaan Malik has landed in controversy once again after a remark about his wife Payal Malik's clothing choices sparked widespread criticism on social media.
The controversy began after a clip from one of Armaan's recent vlogs went viral online. In the video, Armaan is seen commenting on Payal's outfit while comparing her with his second wife, Kritika Malik. Payal was wearing a T-shirt and shorts at home, while Kritika was dressed in a night suit. Armaan questioned Payal's choice of clothing and suggested she should wear the night suits he had purchased for her.
During the conversation, Payal responded that she did not intend to wear the night suits every day. However, the exchange soon drew attention when Armaan criticised her appearance and made a controversial statement linking a woman's dressing style to the success of her marriage. According to viral clips from the vlog, he said, "Lower t-shirt me ghumoge pati kaha se pyar karega," and further added that a husband could eventually "divorce" his wife if she continued dressing that way.
The remarks quickly triggered backlash across social media platforms. Many viewers accused Armaan of being disrespectful towards Payal and promoting outdated views about women and relationships. Several users questioned why a woman's clothing should determine the level of affection or respect she receives from her spouse. Others pointed out what they perceived as hypocrisy, noting that Armaan himself was dressed casually while criticising his wife's attire.

Many felt the comments were unfair, especially considering Payal's responsibilities at home and as a mother.
