Reality TV personality and Splitsvilla X6 fame Preet Singh recently went through a disturbing experience in Mumbai that has left her shaken. Known for her strong presence and growing popularity, Preet took to social media to share videos of herself after the incident, where she was seen with visibly swollen eyes and a bruised face. The videos quickly caught attention, raising concerns about safety even in cities often considered secure.
According to Preet, the incident took place while she was at a club with a friend, simply spending a normal evening. What started as an unexpected confrontation soon escalated into a violent situation, leaving her physically injured and emotionally disturbed. The involvement of an alleged influencer and her friend has further added to the shock surrounding the incident.
Sharing her experience, Preet said, "I have always heard that Mumbai is one of the safest cities for girls, but I never imagined it would welcome me like this. Even as I write this, I'm shivering. My eyes are swollen, my face is bruised, and I'm still trying to process what happened. I was simply sitting and enjoying time with my friend at a club when a girl suddenly started shouting, questioning how we were even allowed inside. What began as a verbal argument quickly turned into something horrific when her male friend stepped in and physically assaulted us. I was hit so badly that my tooth broke and my face swelled up. It was only when people intervened that the situation stopped. Later, I got to know that the girl is a so-called influencer. I'm still in shock that something like this could happen so openly. No one deserves to go through this."
Preet has not named the influencer in her post.
The incident has sparked conversations online, with many expressing concern over public safety and accountability in such situations. Following her post, several of her co-contestants from Splitsvilla X16 extended support to her on social media. Ruru Thakur commented, "This is so sick. Hope you're doing well. Can't even imagine. Please take care. You're a strong, strong woman."
Zalak Gohil, who was also present with her at the time of the attack, commented, "That night was a nightmare for us. I know what Preet went through, and it takes real courage to speak about it."
Preet's courage in speaking up and sharing her reality has resonated with many, highlighting how quickly situations can spiral out of control.
