One of the most beloved Netflix series, Emily in Paris, is back for its sixth and final season, with Lily Collins once again featuring as Emily Cooper. Ahead of the show's farewell, the streaming platform has dropped the first look, teasing the comeback of Emily alongside Gabriel, Mindy, Alfie and Sylvie. The glimpse from the sixth season brings together the show's familiar blend of work, romance and friendship as the season moves towards its end.
Netflix took to Instagram and dropped the glamorous first glimpse from the season, leaving fans excited and curious. Sharing the new pictures from the upcoming season, the caption read: "It's finally here! Say bonjour to your first look at EMILY IN PARIS SEASON 6, returning December 24th!"
The official synopsis for Emily in Paris 6 reads, "Stepping into a new era of ambition and romance, Emily faces defining choices that test her ultimate loyalties. But as unexpected career conflicts and shifting relationships force her to reevaluate where her true future lies, she must make one final choice between her career, her heart, and the life she's built in Paris."
The latest still from the upcoming season showed a glimpse of Emily's latest trip to Greece. The new season will also take the character to Monaco as she finds herself hustling with transformations in both her personal and professional life. As soon as Netflix shared the announcement, fans went gaga. One user commented, "Can't wait." Another commented, "Don't want this show to end." Others were seen sharing red hearts and tear-eyed emojis in the comment section.
Alongside Lily Collins, Emily in Paris also features Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, Ashley Park, Lucas Bravo, Lucien Laviscount, Minnie Driver and Bryan Greenberg, among others. Created by Darren Star, the series follows Emily Cooper, a Chicago-based marketing executive who shifts to Paris, and becomes a journey through professional setbacks, complicated love stories and friendships across Europe.
Backed by Paramount Television Studios, Darren Star Productions and Jax Media, the series has been one of Netflix's major global titles. Season five's premiere remained second on Netflix's Top 10 with 13.5 million views in its first four days, and later maintained the same rank the following week with 13.3 million views.
